Nice pic of the back handles. Nice pic of the customized seal cowl. But I totally understand about how some riders need to remove them. I have issue leaving them on. I'm never going to have a passenger back there anyway and my mini backpack is strapped down in that area. I use this area as cargo space. It's working out real well!

Can you tell me where you get this rubber to cover the hole
Hi. Is this what you are looking for?
Unfortunately, This product I found are in Thailand.
Rear grab delete for CBR250R cost about 550-650 THB (15.58-18.41 USD)
I think shipping cost ain't cheap
Tool Wood Bumper Hardwood Hand tool
Automotive tail & brake light Tire Plant Automotive lighting Vehicle

The passenger handle plugs made of aluminum (not rubber), and from the inside the rear seat rubbers are supported on them. You can cut and shape the original passenger handles, like AlVal done:
Tool Bicycle part Wood Carmine Auto part
Tire Wheel Car Vehicle Automotive tail & brake light
Hood Motor vehicle Vehicle Automotive design Bumper

And there are also these two others opinions, maybe you have already taken that into account, I'm just mentioning that there are also other opinions:
for me the handles are convenient and useful for moving
the bike around,, lifting the rear end/wheel up/free etc,,
my mini backpack is strapped down in that area. I use this area as cargo space. It's working out real well!
