Unfortunately my first post has to be a bad one. I went for a slide with my bike. It is a red/white/blue cbr250 (2012) without abs. An unknown corner, with to much speed and some gravel caused me to go sliding. Fortunately enough I was wearing all the right gear, so I escaped with a nice bruise on my hip.

Unfortunately, my bike didn't come of equally clean. Although it is still roadworthy, the front right indicator is broken and needs replacing.

The rest of the damage is purely cosmetic, but I like to get the bike all fixed up. this includes the exhaust heat guard, the foot peg for the back break (which is bent, maybe just bend it back?). The two front fairings on the front also need replacing.

I don't want to bring it in to the honda dealership considering the costs involved. Equally I don't want the insurance to get involved. This would mean loosing my no claim after forking out up to 700 AU$ own risk.

Can somebody point me in the right direction as to where I would get these parts? I am located in Melbourne (Australia).

My own research led me to these guys They do completely custom fairing color schemes. Apart from that I do not seem to be able to find many stores. Some help please?

Sorry to hear your news mate but glad you're ok to walk away. Have a look at www.tyga-performance.com. These guys are based in Thailand and supply OEM parts for the CBR at reasonable rates with good delivery time.

The other guys on the forum will give you their views on what you can fix up but it it were me after an off I wouldn't hesitate to take it to a reputable repair shop. Just my 0.02c.

Hope it works out. Ride safe.

Peter Stevens has a bit of a bad rep regarding servicing. I ended up using tyga for most of the things. Unfortunately they do not stock fairings for the Tri, so for those I ended up going with partzilla.

Lets see how everything turns out.
