does anyone have any multi color led kits they can recommend? debating on whether or not to buy a premade kit or find a RGB controller with wireless remote and make my own.

I did my own. Companies seem to skyrocket the price of LEDs when they are selling motorcycle or other vehicle kits.
Make sure to weatherproof your control box. I didnt and ended up losing that box after a month or so. I think a spray over with plastidip should be sufficient.
I had a little trouble with placement, since I was using strips. There is limited flat surfaces on the bike. I ended up Ziptieing some to the frame aswell.
