[Rev Limiter]

Has anyone used a GPS system to "accurately" measure RPM @ 60 mph (with stock sprockets?)

My speedo seems accurate via radar signs. I'm at 6400-6500 rpm at 60mph when I was on the stock 14t. Run a 13t now...

Here is my graph based on calculation and actual rather than indicated speed. I have verified this with gps on my European spec machine ( speedo overreads 10%).

I haven't accounted for rev counter inaccuracy ( I suspect it may be out by 2-3 hundred rpm more than true).

There is no absolute value because tyre dimensions are variable according to make, wear, and temperature.

US bikes have a speedo that's dead-on.

My bike does around 6000 rpm at 100 km/h and 7000 at 120 km/h. Not sure how accurate the speedo is.
