thats an awesome pic. and let me just voice my opinion and say that, sendler you are hardcore moto. doing most of your mantainace on your own and riding in basically any condition except blizzard like..hardcore.
Where do you live? I live in Michigan. Yesterday we got a few flurries the it turned back to rain. Supposed to hit 50 here today so ill be out for a ride. Time is running out on our ridding season
Wow its a freezing cold 18 degrees down here by day & 11 at night and its meant to be springtime, I cannot fathom riding in snow.
October storm

The first snow melted by the afternoon but there is a freak October storm coming today. Luckily it will stay just to the south of me in Syracuse for a change. Many people are expected to lose electricity from down power lines.

Snowed here last night too. I have my license road test scheduled for next Friday. Wonder how that's going to go.
Wow, it's crap rain/cold here down in El City, but I'm about to forge ahead to the shop to get my gearbox sorted out all the same.

Aufitt, now that I found my manual . . . I"m having trouble finding where it says what to do about snow riding. You know what page that's under? :p

It should be above freezing all next week but might be rainy. I hope they don't cancel you. I'm surprised that they would even schedule for motorcycles in New York this late in the season.
Just started snowing here, but not sticking. And screw scheduling, I just rode up and dropped off. They made some noise about lubing up the assembly and such, but figured they could do 2nd service while it was there anyway. Walked home and will go get in a couple hours.

Old snow

Here's my then new Honda XL250 at the top of Marble Pass in Oregon. Snow is best for riding in the spring, but the CBR may not be the best choice. The sticks were from an accident in training, the XL was therapy.

68?! come on now Top. I went out yesterday and it was 45 no snow, though
+I'm in the 8-12 zone, but nestled just below the highest point on the southeast facing ridge of the Shawangunk Range. Nor'easters pound us, and it's comin' down like a batsard... RK
We got our first slush-snow stuff today here in D.C. metro area, could'nt go out and ride the 250 (moto-withdrawls) so instead went out on my mountain bike while wearing some of my moto gear on a beer run.
It's gonna be a long winter....
I woke up this morning and realized that I had been thinking like a neurotic whining weenie last week. I'd let one morning of waking up to snow put me into a Oh, woe is me, I'm not going to get to ride my motorcycle till spring, the motorcycle season is over state of mind.

It hit me this morning that motorcycling is not about seasons, it's about moments!

Sure, we had snow last week but next week it's going to get up in the middle to upper 50's. Sure, we may not get a week of the middle to upper 50's in February but I'll bet that there will be at least part of one day good enough to go out for a spin. Thinking like that i'll be able to get through the winter fine.

Forget about the season, live for the moment!
