So my husband bought me my cbr in July. I had to wait more than a month for them to receive my lowering links and install them. So we took our course, passed, and received our M1 mid-August. A few days later, I finally received a call stating that they could install my lowering links (which meant I could finally ride my cbr!!).
After installation, they informed me that they lowered it as much as they could, which was 1.5 inches. I was way closer than before, considering I couldn't even touch the ground (I'm barely 4'11"). With the lowering limks, I was on my tippy toes and felt comfortable to ride, but was not as confident as I thought I would be.
Last night, we decided to try and shave the seat. It came out exceptionally great and now I feel so comfortable!! I can reach A LOT better. Can't wait to get more riding time and start doing mods!!
