Last night i went to a motorcycle superstore to look at bikes until i get my cbr,long story short--- i ended up buying a 2011 ducati monster 696,matt white finish,all it took was for me to see it and sit on it,wife is mad i spent so much,they were suppose to deliver it tonight,but too much rain,they wanted to take it out for a test.So it looks like tomorrow afternoon,gotta admit when u buy a ducati u get special treatment,sales men said go pick a couple shirts and a hat off the wall,when i looked at the prices$45 bucks a tee shirt, i went back over and asked him about a fender eliminator kit instead,he had to check with the gm ,but i got the ok.They didnt even charge me to put it on.but im sure i pd one way or another.only thing i can say bikes look a whole lot diff in person,soo mean looking,those italians sure make nice motorcycles

There was a 17 yr old kid with his parents buying him for his b-day a 848 racer.I was nosey, i just had to ask him,he told me he never rode before, and that he just saw it in a mag,lol ,i told him to ride a scooter first,i think the problem was----- money no object,they arrived in a maybach.I didnt get envious of the 848, it was a big reach for me, not to mention this kid was smaller then me.If i was him i would have went for the ferrari,although he prob has one at home,lol

I would hope they'd take better care of you after making a decision to put another $5500 in their pockets.

Wife is mad haha...just get her the 250 and have her ride with you!!!

I love the Duc 848 in that pearl white. That is one sexy bike.

They should be able to arrange a good funeral If they are loaded.

Hey DASIK that 848 is amazing,it was someones bike,big sold sign on it,even though i bought the monster i kept looking at that bike too,but way to big for me,and i have been riding on and off for 20 yrs ,and i still dont know ****,and in comes a 100 Lb kid and buys the 848

Good luck with everything Jersey. Ive been looking around too. This is in my opinion still the best 250cc bike out there, and most likely I will wait. I think if I walk into another dealer I might buy another bike though. Right now my favorite bike is the Tiger SE. Talk about from one extream to the other. I really want to handle a smaller bike for awhile first though.

Maybe i should have bought a boat! Rain, floods here in ohio..4 non rainy days in May

I am going nuts! thunder storms on my days off work!! hope others are getting better riding weather..my thoughts go out to those in missouri..Huge cat. 5 tornado over 85 fatalities..and im complaining about riding..looks llike its gonna be another gloomy day here in ohio!!
