Hi guys,

Hopefully around May, everyone has gotten their bikes! I was thinking of starting a meet. A SoCal Honda CBR 250R Meet! Who is interested? Where should we meet? Where should we ride after? Where should we eat after?

There are tons of Bike Meets, Groups out there, why not start one just for 250s?

Thoughts?

I know some of you are not in Southern California, so ride your bike over here!

hopefully i get my bike soon,most shops are getting them at the end of the month,some already got theirs but they had deposits.. this shop wanted me to put down 2400 and pay 5300 for a non abs..lol.i got other shops calling me saying their shipment comes in a week...im in the moreno valley area

you guys are lucky.. i dont think they are even out yet in Canada other wise i would love to attend a meet!

Yes that sounds good (socal meet)

I am waiting on my bike. I want red and nowhere has it. I live in north county but don't have any preference on where a meet would be. It would be cool to go for a nice easy ride in our back country, Santa Ysabel area.

I'm just waiting for more people to get their bikes and we can start organizing something. I live near Woodland Hills CA, and we have a lot of back roads in my area that we can cruise.
Depending on where people are located, we'll all pick a meet half way from each other.

Good luck everyone. I hope everyone get's their bikes soon!

all i have to say is I(Remus), cbr250abs(Alan) and TOM(Tom) are the only ones that show up to things unless we really have to do something else. The rest. sorry to say it, are kinda of flakes:-(

I'm down to go! And on the topic of buying a bike I haggled down to 4899 at Santa Barbara motorsports. And the guy at the Honda dealer was selling for even less. Its pretty easy to knock them down because they are marking the bike up pretty high...

We are saddened to say that our dear friend and host Ed Savko passed away yesterday. More will be announced as we are informed by the family. Many blessings to Vern and the family members and to Ed's memory which we all will cherish.

Ed was the owner of the rock store, he died of old age mostly and had many many biker friends, all kinds of bikers.

Riding Group and Ed...

I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to meet Ed before he passed. But you know, I'd love to go for a ride up to his place. I heard so many good things about it and him, but have never gone. If you guys are planning on going soon, please let me know. I'm not a morning person, but I'm not a flake

What happened with the May Ride????

For whatever reasons I did know about that ride...did it ever come to fruition? I would be ready for a nice ride now in fall...well maybe in Oct. when it cools down abit more. So, Please let me know if a "250r" ride happens...love to be a part of it...can't wait. minzRedWhtBlu250too
