Yesterday, turning on the bike I pushed the start button too short.
The engine didn't start, but since I was a little in a hurry I pushed it twice again
before the dash had completed its check.
The result was that instruments did not reset before starting again the check,
so I was @0 rpm but the dash indicated @4000.
So the hand checked @4000 rpm over the red limit.
It solved itself by repeating twice the proper procedure to start the bike:
Key to OFF position
Waiting for the dash check
starting engine.
I had to repeat it twice because the first time it reset @0 to 2000rpm.
The second time it was ok.
Probably will never happen to someone else, or never happen again in the world face, but, in case it will, google will find it for the squid who will panic against this occurrence.
