Where does the speedometer get its signal from? I am fitting an engine and ancillaries/loom into a different frame and have taken bits from various sources. I am struggling to see where the Speedo signal comes from. The loom has the ABS plugs but I won’t be running ABS on this bike!

Welcome to the forum. I didn't really understand your Q, because your question is too general. If you post here a picture of the loom wires, and a picture of the motor, it might help if I show you on your pics which connector connects to where?

Where does the speedometer get its signal from?

Answer: The speed sensor fixed in the crankcase (LINK), near the output shaft (right side, from above). 3 wires came out to connector 3P.
