can still use bike ok ,just take 4 times to start when cold
I am having that problem..well did anyway..would crank and crank but not fire up..started when weather turned cold...sometimes took several minutes of cranking..I read online a trick to try..now i prime the fuel line 3 times before I try to start if its been sittin awhile...a litle twist of the throttle at the same time and it now fires up ok...
Could my switch be bad as well or does this sound like something else..i called my dealer and they said they would have to have it while it was doing that to try to diagnose it..problem is..i never knew when it would act that way and when it wouldnt..sometimes it fired right up

Dont crank it till the fuel pump and tacho sweep has done its thing.. even then wait a few seconds.

And NO throttle while cranking, its Fuel injected.

Should it not start due to climate, moisture or poor fuel etc,
Turn Key off
Repeat process.
