Sticker removal

The tank top stickers on my USA bike were not top coated. I peeled them off with my thumbnail and took off the little bit of residue with bug and tar remover. With a dab of wax you can't tell they were ever there. This was done at about 250 miles so the surrounding paint had not had much chance to fade.

You mean the wear your helmet stickers?

I peeled mine with nails and then rubbed out with microfiber towel + 99% isopropil alcohol. All took me about 15 minutes of work, i would not say that the glue residual came out very easy, but still did not take much time.

Use Label Off

You cannot remove those its against the law and besides what if you forgot to wear your helmet, or forget that the tank is meant for gasoline and not 151 RUM..... LMAO

Peel the stickers off, dip a cloth into your tank, lightly rub the gasoline over your the glued residue, it should mostly come out, then use a cleaner to remove the gasoline before it can harm the paint, and throw a coat of wax on it, youll be good to go in about 5 minutes.

If you are talking about the honda wing emblems, mine had clear coat over them too. I am wet sanding/buffing the edge off.

if their is clear coat over them i agree wet sanding and buffing is your only option i believe,

None of the one's I've seen have stickers under the clear coat.

Label Off is a product that does the same thing as goo gone

I hit the three stickers just behind the gas cap with a heat gun for 15 - 20 seconds and then peeled them off. A hairdryer will also work but may take a bit longer to loosen the stickers.
Then I buffed the residue with Goo Gone a couple of times and now you can't tell that there ever were stickers on the tank.

Turtle Wax - Turtle Wax Label & Sticker Remover

just let it set on the glue for about a minute or 2 then just rub it off with a washrag (do not use paper towels they just fall apart)

got it @ Advanced Auto for like 5$ but you could probably find it anywhere

For any Aussies, I just peeled it off (I only had a warning sticker under the fuel cap) and used Eucalyptus oil to get the sticky bits off. Not sure if you other girls/guys have Eucalyptus oil?

I just peeled the front honda and sticker just under the fuel cap off
and with the sticky bits buffed it out with some Autoglym super resin polish

Thank you, I did mines this morning using this technique and it worked perfectly. No need to buy any kind of product and it looks like nothing was ever there.
