My SWing was in the shop so I decided to take the little CBR for an adventure. 390 miles so far with another 230 tomorrow to home. 61.6 mpg which is not too bad hauling my #250 + ~#30 of stuff especially considering gas in Canada is $5.16 avg. Here are some pix for your enjoyment. Loaded up and ready to go

2 pix from the same location. I left my bags at the motel.

On the way from Invermere to Lake Louise

Gas, coffee and sit in the sun to take off the chill stop on Bow Valley Pkwy AB

Next 2 along BV Pkwy

While not as comfy as my Silverwing the little CBR has done quite nicely so far.

Looks awesome.

Man, you shoulda held back some photo ammo for the monthly contest! But you should definitely enter one of these next month.

BV is only about 300 miles from me in Montana. I always take it rather than the *@#&* freeway to LL. I had the naive thought that Moraine Lake would be less zooy than LL today. Wrong! Headed down to Field for lunch at the Truffle Pig and that was wonderful as ever.
Too many tour buses throughout the season at Moraine. Field is ok but never been to Truffle Pig. A site cheaper than LL I assume. You've enjoyed beautiful weather for this trip. Although last night wld have been a tad cool with frost warnings....brrrr
If you haven't been to the Truffle pig you haven't lived.

Brie, ham, garden fresh toms and lettuce on a rosemary flat bread dribbled with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Ditto that, great shots...thanks for sharing! :)
Spectacular... those of us who live in or near the Rocky Mountains, whether in the United States or Canada, are fortunate to have the some of the very best motorcycling in the world right in our own backyards. :)
Its like a postcard.

Stunning.
Epic, I love the last picture of the bunch. :D
Back safe and sore. If you asked me right now if I wanted to do a similar trip I'd probably say no but I'm sure by next summer I'll be looking for twisty roads to tour on the little beast.
