Ill take some pictures today. The 140 tire is noticeably smaller but doesnt look terrible. You could probably squeeze a 150 or possibly a 160 tire on there depending on the brand of the rubber
hey guys, just joined the forum,i put my deposit on a red abs version as well,i just got off the phone with my dealer and he tells me may 2nd or 3rd.I mainly ordered this bike to go back and fourth to work, and to save on gas.i was looking at the yamaha 125 zuma, but i was getting too much grief from my friends--about scooters--,idk,i still might get one
Takes more balls to ride a scooter. I have three of them.. Four up untill a few months ago when I sold my silver wing. I also have motorcycles. They are all fun.
if i wanted somthing more powerfull i would buy it,and on a last note,if they brought the cbr 150 to the states i would buy that.
Agree 100%. It's as if the people don't have a brain. Honda made a 250cc bike. It's for people who want a 250cc bike.. If it had a bigger engine, it wouldn't be a 250. If you want something faster you don't buy a 250.
I put a 130 rear tire on my '82 CM450c & it was too wide to fit my chain guard on that I procured rather recently. A 130 is 5.118" wide. Stock, my 450 requires a 4.5" wide rear tire, or 114.3 mm if they made it in a metric size. The front is 3.5", more skinny than a 110. A 140 is over 5.5" wide; I'd say plenty wide for a 250.
I called few places but it looks like no one is getting red/silver with ABS! Some say next month some say mid summer, I don't know if I should wait for ABS but I have never been on a bike and ABS just seems safer option.
Man I am still waiting on mine!! I can't believe these bikes are showing up all around me and mine still hasnt even shipped according to my dealer. Youre not too far away, theyve shown up in Knoxville TN and Charlotte NC Im startin to get anxious! Hopefully mine will just pop up one day soon he said the assembly instructions came about a week and a half ago
A friend of mine has a 2006 CBR600RR hes gonna sell me for the same price as a new 250, tons of aftermarket stuff black 5800 miles if this thing doesn't come in soon I may bail. I really dont want to, Ive loved this bike since I first saw it but my patience is wearing thin
