Riding that road in Romania would definitely be an experience one wouldn't soon forget. Last summer I was talking with another rider (coincidentally, at the overlook area at the top of the ski basin road), and he was telling me about some of the various alpine roads he had ridden on a motorcycle vacation through Europe, and he mentioned this Transfagerasan road, as well as some of the spectacular roads he had ridden through the Swiss, Italian, and Austrian Alps. To have a couple months (and of course the $$$) to go to Europe and just ride would be incredible, to say the least. I would have to list that right up at the top of my "bucket list".
