Hi all,
Sorry if this has been asked before, but in the manual it says that tires should be at 29psi but on the tyre itself it reads 36psi. This is my first bike so I am a real novice to the motorcycle world. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you will find what is on the tyre is the maximum recommended pressure for the tyre.

In the manual (and on the sticker on the bike) there are two recommended pressures for the bike. One for solo riding, the other for when carrying a pillion. They are the ones to go for.

They are recommended. Different riders may have their own preferences, depending on circumstances, but they will probably be not be far from the recommended pressures.

36 is max for the tyre, but not the bike.

29/30 is Hondas recommendation for our bike and is spot on, remember a tyre gains pressure as it heats up.
So as Michael said.
