went riding up to a well known motorcycle road in the area...It is a public road with residential houses..so i wasnt trying to pretend i was on a race track or on a super sport bike...just there to have a good time on the curves..I wanted to go home same way i got there..in one piece and alive....

thanks for comments....it was a blast....they boast of 489 curves within a 12 mile radius of the 421 country store on their website....was my second time up there..not gonna be my last...and living near the smokey mountains has its advantages....but some disadvantages too

took off work and rode up on a Thursday...was surprised myself how empty it was..as most good places to ride..its packed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

I've done both the dragon and the snake a bunch of times. Give me the snake any day over the dragon.

Just be on the lookout for dump trucks on the snake. I think it's part of their regular route. You don't have to worry much if you meet one going the opposite way, these guys are hauling ass and stay in their own lane. Check your mirrors though
