I've read on a couple of sites that this is the adjustment interval. That has to be a misprint.

I see guys on here saying 16k miles. Is 16k the second adjustment point and then it becomes every 30k (= 48k kms), or is the 48k kms just incorrect.

The valves should be inspected every 16K miles.

Adjustments are made only if they're out of spec.
