Waiting patiently to get a good deal.

Hello everyone,

My name is Jay, but I go by Sarin. I'm 32 and live in Gainesville, Fl, USA. I've been riding on and off for years and finally got my endorsement about a year ago. There's a story behind that for the curious.

I've been admiring the Ninja 250 since about a year before I got my endorsement, primarily because I like vehicles that can go 10/10ths without threatening life, limb, my drivers license, or Einstein's special theory of relativity. My dream stable has a pair of 250 sportbikes (now a CBR250R and a Ninja 250R), a tuned Miata (in process: mild), and my Dodge Ram hauler (which spends most of it's time parked because it can't pass a gas station).

The Ninjette has it's foibles, as we are all aware, but the big ones for me were the carbs and the long legs. The Honda's better manners in town and fuel injection sold me, and I think it looks better too. I still want the Ninja for distance, but I might pass once I get some seat time on the Honda.

Currently, I'm trolling dealers for pricing on a CBR250R. Thinking about getting one for Christmas when street riding season is "over," maybe pick up a deal.

Outside of bikes and why I'm here; I'm a geek (but not 1337 h4x), mild PC gamer, married, and manage a marina. Anything else you'd like to know, just ask, I'm a pretty open individual.
