Even if i take out dealer's "792.00 fright & setup", which i guess is negotiable - i could not get close 4200

MSRP was 3999 + tax tags and fees = 4200. I forget the breakdown. But my dealer did not charge me for freight.
Sales tax here is 3% tho so there is your two big differences. I think my doc fee was $30.

mine came with a pair of gloves and boots and first service free, but my dealer is like an hour away so i'm going to try do it myself soon - wish me luck.
whats a good helmet I am using a pushbike one that looks like a harley helmet currently.

Get any fullface, if you are on a budget, HJC, if you want to not risk your head, get an Arai or Shoei.

I didn't have to pay the dealer fee (got an in with the owner), but still paid list of $3999 plus the usual tax, license, etc. They threw in a disc lock.

I got tired of waiting so I ended up paying a lot more for OTD. My price ended up being $4616. I just couldn't stand waiting any more. It wasn't worth the endless stream of "maybe next month" delivery dates to save a few hundred dollars.

I got a Dealer cap, a mega reflective yellow safety vest with a thumping big honda insignia on the back (or do we all get one of those with any new Honda?), and a rider training day voucher , which I thought was quite good. There was not much else I could haggle on...these little beauties are in demand in Brisbane.
