What other bike do you have a crush on?

1st, allow me to give credit to acura9927 for inspiring this thread. I figured it'd be much more polite than hijacking his. ;)

Now, if you had a chance to add any bike to your stable today, what would it be? Some of you like classics, some of you like crazy fast supersports, some of you like streetfighters, etc. What would you guys pick out and why? I'm curious as to what other people's tastes are since all of our great minds have thought alike on the CBR250R. If you have a moment, toss up a photo, video, or review and give a little info on what draws you to the bike.

My pick is the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and has been covered in Azul the Cat's thread "Rode a Ninja 650". Middleweight street-bikey goodness!

Highlights
HP: 65 @ 8700
Torque: 44 @ 7300
Curb Weight: 460lbs
Power/Weight Ratio: 1:7
0-60: 3.7s
Adjustable height windscreen
Around 50 MPG (Here's the Fuelly Report)

More low-end torque than the FZ6R. More comfort than the SV650S.

What would you folks get to keep your CBR company?

I already own my dream bike:

BMW K1600GT in Vermillion Red. Six cylinder, 160 hp, 129 ft. lbs. and pulls like a freight train from about 2,000 RPM across a power band as wide as the Grand Canyon. It's a bike that will float down the expressway on a 1,000 mile day in complete comfort and through the state-of-the-art ESA II suspension, with just the push of a button, transform itself into a hyper sport twisty road strafing hooligan bike that will power wheelie out of switchbacks all day long. It has every electronic convenience and sounds like a Porsche race engine when you pour on the coals. It's the perfect bike for me because I live about 200 miles from the hillbilly twisties. It'll take me there and back again in complete heated, bluetooth, protected comfort. And when I'm there my buddies on sport bikes are on their A game if they're keeping up.

I've taken this bike out for a week or more at a time and always come back home wishing I'd been out longer. This fall, I'm leaving Annapolis Maryland and riding it to Glacier NP and back - about 6500 miles. Yeah, I'm a pretty lucky guy. There are times when I wish I had a Panigale or and S1000RR and then I take this bike out and the feeling goes away.

Those Be On Automotive kit race bikes are very cool... the 450GP versions must be wicked fast as thumpers go.

Speaking of wood inducing motorcycles... To think that you could buy these NSR250's off a Honda dealer's showroom floor in Canada as a street legal bike in the late '80's and early '90's. In 1989 I was in Montreal for the F1 race, and I checked out a dealership by the name of Moto Internationale, and they had all sorts of street legal, two stroke road bikes on their floor... Honda NSR's, Suzuki Gamma's, Yamaha RZ's & RZV's, all sporting those sweet sounding, high RPM two stroke motors. Some of these bikes made it into the U.S. and were titled, registered, and are legal today to operate on the road. If I had a time machine...

They are hard to find. They are also old bikes. I have had my fill of old bikes. I would prefer to have something only a few years old.... spares are easier to get and less of a headache.
My dealer is trying to talk me into a NSF250R ... lol

The NSR250's are very rare... they will also eat the NSF for lunch.

Did you lead your dealer to believe that you've got $30,000 laying around for a NSF250R? :D

I've always kinda liked Honda's VFR1200. It's the "big boy" version of the 250R. A relatively torquey sportbike for the street. The price tag definitely keeps me away, though. If only "money were no object". I actually prefer it to the ZX-14 and Hayabusa as far as performance touring bikes go.

I'm a huge fan of this bike and apparently, you and I are in the minority. According to my local Honda dealer, these bikes set around forever and don't get anywhere near the sales traction of other sporty bikes on the floor. I almost bought a 2010 DCT bike instead of my 2012 K1600GT. I took a 30 minute test ride on a standard tranny bike and then swapped bikes and road back to the dealer on the same twisty roads on the DCT bike. Both are awesome but I would have gone for the DCT bike. I could have bought that brand new 2010 VFR1200 DCT AND a 2012 CB1000R for what I paid for my K16GT but ultimately, I decided that the BMW was worth two of anything else and it hasn't disappointed me.

~~
The all black Ducati Diavel. I could never afford one, and I could never justify owning a bike that powerful even if I could. But the fat front/mid section and muscular look of the thing just makes me go daaaaaannng.
