The CBR125r does look pretty bad-ass. This goes back to my original post, why didn't they take a CBR125r frame and bump it up to 250cc? Full fairing, dual headlights, just all around more pleasant to look at.
Exactly what I think too, but the twin headlight it a bit of a farce as they both don't light up together. If its got 2 lights why not make them both work at the same time ?

It's a very odd thing many bike manufactures do and i'm not too sure of the reasoning behind this. The only way to make them both light up is to use your high beams but i don't understand why they don't in low beams, wouldn't it give better visibility  kinda like if a car only had one operating headlight, it isn't as visible as opposed to if it had 2 operating? :)

I googled about this a long time ago and this is what i found from a forum back then.

The stated reason for using only one low beam is that with both, a bike can be mistaken for a car at a greater distance. Two bulbs in a single lens, such as on my CBR, is a much better setup because then you can have both low beams on at once. Not only does this provide better illumination, but if a bulb fails you still have a low beam.

It may not look as "sporty" (?) as some other bikes, but I love the styling of the CBR250 for what it is, and that's just plain oozing sensuality. As long as I don't look at the muffler. Then all I see is Phyllis Diller. Otherwise, as I've commented to admirers on the street, "No 250 has a right to look so sexy!" It's my pretty, sexy little thang...

I don't get why people say the 250 should look more like a 600rr, or it was a mistake that they made it a single cylinder and not an i4. Just go buy a 600rr or 1000rr already and STFU. Stop complaining about the 250 if it's not for you and save your coin.
I would of got the 600rr or the 1000rr but they are to heavy for my back to handle 3 ruptured disks.the money isn't a problem the weight is. My point was an i4 in a small bike would be good for 45hp no problem as the 250rr is. No complaining just my view & since when can't a person voice their view? I couldn't give a rats ass if no-one agrees its just my view. If I didn't like the bike I wouldn't of bought it & if the 250r is such a great bike stock them why does everyone change the pipe or different sprockets etc....
