Do any of us really know?

Nope...............if delivery of CBR's to North America is delayed...unlikely American or Canadian Honda is going to zero in on that for us. It appears to be a function of the worldwide demand coupled with Honda missing the forecast numbers....maybe by a wide margin. Also could be related to parts availability from Japan for the production in Thailand which is where North American product is reportedly built. The dealers who have indicated they will be shorted on their initial order are a telling sign........
North America may be getting product last and least because Honda did not anticipate the current interest here......

I ordered my red abs mid february in Ontario, Canada, with a delivery window of april. as of april 6, i was still being told april. i just sent another e-mail to the dealer asking for an update but have not received a reply just yet. i will post it once i hear back from him.

Red non-ABS here in Ottawa, Ontario. April was the expected date of delivery and even just a few weeks ago, April was still when it would be in. Now as of today I am told May 16th. Frustration is starting to settle in.

Hi, I'm form Poland. I ordered mine black C-ABS model in the beginning of March; I was told mid April and... I'm just after first ride! I get it today afternoon! My dealer said that he get only 3 bikes (including mine and dealer demo model) and sell already all of them. He said that next delivery in Poland will be maybe.. in September. I was lucky...

I'm very happy and I hope you will get yours Honda's soon, too.

I was just emailed from my Dealer at told approx. May 15 for my bike. Kinda upset that this is the third date I responded to the email asking if this was a firm date. I also let them know that Honda Canada responded to my email this week stating they didn't know when the bike was available only that it would be spring of this year. I am interested to see if I get a response from my dealer. I will be going there tomorrow as they are launching the bike at the store with a demo. I'm thinking they might not want me there.

I would advise to be kind to dealer - its not his fault that its delayed

I just relased that i could actually get it now but dealer only have it in tricolor, but i think its ugly in those colors, so i wait for the black one...wait...wait..aaand wait hehe

I hope its only 3 weeks more, but who knows

**** I wish I could go see the bike. Let me know how it goes, if I saw it first hand It'd probably help me stay happy but Im starting too think maybe I should take my deposit back and go get myself a used Ninja for a 2k cheaper.

At last there is something good about being part of Asia and close to Thailand!!

Most dealerships here in Brisbane , Australia, have stock on the floor.

I test rode my bike on Saturday 16th, payed my deposit on the spot, and should have delivery tommorrow 20th, just waiting on dealer delivery and registration paper work.
Just in time for the 5 day Easter break, Yippeeee!!

I ordered the Tri-Colour, could of had any colour, thought I wanted a black when I first saw pictures of this bike. The Tri looks much, much better in real life than it does in the photos.

i about to go mental soon - its sunny here now and next week, perfect weather

The black/silver ones available in the shops in dk are demos, i stay away from them

I wish that tricolor was going to be available in the states, where our colors are red, white & blue,; I'd get one. I'll be happy with my red & gray ABS if I ever get it.

Just put a new clutch, tires, sprockets, & o-ring chain on my CM450c this last weekend. The new oil filter is waiting for me when I get home from work & I can fill it with oil & only if it wasn't 40 & raining I'd take it out. It must satisfy me while I wait & wait & wait & wait some more for my new CBR250.

I ordered my bike on December 8th, 2010, but the dealer told me that I couldn't officially order it until it was officially available to order.

The day it was officially order-able, I ordered it. A 2011 CBR250R (Black with ABS) on January 13th, 2011. I hope I am in the first order.

The funny thing is that I created my avatar name more than a year ago. I've been wanting Honda to produce this bike for some time and I was incredibly surprised when they announced it.

Even though I placed my order early, the local Honda dealership is a small one. I hope that all the first shipments don't just go out to the Honda Powersports dealers in Ontario.

update for my bike dates, got mine delivered yesterday. so my dates are

deposit 08/03/2011, delivery to dealer 02/04/2011, deliver to me 19/04/2011

average deliver to owners are bit slow, as this is first time the local sole distributor are handling CBU Imports.

Yes, No Tri-Color available here in the U.S. It seems to be very popular with the UK folks also. I do think it looks great in the photos I've seen. Everyone on the various forums who has had the choice of black and Tri Color AND has seen both beforehand...has chosen the Tri-Color.......
