The coolant tank is tucked in between the right crankcase and the frame, above the rear brake pedal. There is a black plastic cover, held on with a screw, over the filler cap. You should be able to check the level without removing the cover. To add coolant, the cover has to come off.

since my bike is kept in an underground parking and the light isnt that bright. I used to have to take off the plastic cover to be able to see the level. Once i knew where the level was, what i do now is to shine a flashlight from the bottom of the reservoir tank, if i see green (fluid is in the reservoir) i am good to go :)

Don't forget, of course, that you must be holding your bike up level to get the level reading... just like with oil. Check them both while you're at it.

If you already have a rear stand then that should be a piece of cake. If not then use the mirror trick.... if no mirror then call a buddy.. if no buddy then hold it level yourself from the muffler side with the kick stand down on the other side(in case it falls toward the other side).
