Just wondering who has the highest mileage. How are the bikes holding up as the miles build. I just hit 1500 miles.

about a hundred and fifty miles away from 3 thousand on mine...got my CBR at the very end of july...so its amazing when i see all these other 2-3 year old motorcycles for sale on craigslist.org that only have 3-6 thousand miles on them...they must not have liked to ride them very much
We need that guy who rode to Alaska on his to post up (and a ride report too!)

I think Mike might have a few miles on his too. I picked mine up at the start of August and have about 2200 on it now.
redline, vermilion hit 7k miles at fuelly, mohdkhairi 5566 mile, me and fauxshow are in the 6500 miles, the guy from florida who rode to the arctic circle and back, (who by the way we're still waiting for pictures and a chat up,) has got to be in the 7K mile range.

Yep still waiting to check out some pics from the trip.

got mine at the end of july and have clocked around 2600miles/4160km.
Alaska?

Where can I read about this? I know that someone on a pre gen CBR125R did that ride from Key West to the Arctic Ocean and back.
I have 4180 miles (about 6700 kms) on my CBR250R. Not bad considering I've been breaking in my CBR150R for the past month and riding it almost exclusively.

I thought I was doing ok at 1800 miles since late April. Obviously my short commute (35 miles a day) is keeping the miles down and I use the car more often than I should. Must try harder!
I though 2300 was high lol. However I live 1 mile away from work. I rode the bike exclusively until the temps started dropping.

The guy left a note in Gas Mileage, I think. There was a link to a picture of his bike at the Arctic Circle sign. I think people who ride like that, don't spend a lot of time on the internet. He said the bike is good to go, though

+1. Some riders are not writers :). It can take a lot of time and requires considerable effort to put all your thoughts, feelings, experiences, happenings, into words and then add photos and organize it into a coherent trip report. For my trip reports, I'm embarrassed to say that it takes me on average about 7 hours to create each chapter of a report - including editing. If there are 5 to 6 chapters.....well.....it is like a full-time job.

I've currently got 15,632 miles on mine. Very sorry about the trip report being so late as I've been working 50hrs a week. Motorcycle expeditions cost money but i'm very grateful for this board's patience I'll go ahead and post the first part of the report tonight.

Holy $hit! 15,632 miles. You probably have the most mileage of anyone on the globe.

I just reached 1500km in about five weeks since buying the bike. I work at home - so all that travelling is purely for fun! Love it!

I have 19,000km.

Rides like a dream. Especially since I fixed the 5,500rpm rattle.
Just over 3,000 miles of commuting through Los Angeles GRID-LOCK. The 250R cuts my travel time in half, but the severe congestion keeps my gas mileage down in the low 60's as I spend way too much time splitting lanes between stopped traffic in 2nd gear.

I've got 5600 km on mine. picked it up May 15. Still hoping to get another month of riding in before winter. looks like the Luck Owl wins the mileage comp! Great ride report and photos by the way :)
