Looks like reflection from the tank to me.And... does something look orange around the ignition and steering bolt?

I don't know if there is a stigma or not, but it seems kind of silly to me. It would be like painting your Chevy Impala to look like Dale Jr's NASCAR. Everyone knows that the street version Impala is nothing like a NASCAR so it's posing to be something it's not.I'm not a huge Supersport/MotoGP nut, but is there some sort of stigma against owning a Repsol replica 250R if you're a newbie rider? ...
I don't know..I have seen people put racing stickers on mini-vans. Even saw a K&N sticker kit on a wagon. People like to think they are racing from red light to red light I guess.I don't know if there is a stigma or not, but it seems kind of silly to me. We all know that the Repsol Honda is not a CBR250R to painting one like that is kind of silly. It looks nice and might attract attention, but I would hate to explain every 5 minutes that it's not a race replica bike.
Or better yet leave it the way it is... stock. It will be worth much more "stock" if and when you do decide to sell it. The guys who sink a lot of money into cosmetic farkles and what not, will find this out in a big way when they try to sell those bikes.instead of trading in for a 2013 and taking a hit, why not just buy the replacement plastics?
