To my way of thinking, the on paper characteristics of the CBR250R engine suggest that it should really have been used in a new incarnation of the NX250, which is a much more practical and versatile machine. It came at the wrong time, at the start of a couple of decades of a bigger is better attitude. Now the quarter litre class seems to have come back in favour, maybe we will see something like the NX again soon. I hope so.
