I've been debating whether or not to get the ABS version of the cbr when I do actually get the bike, and I couldn't come to a conclusion having never ridden the bike myself. So I decided to ask you guys on here what you think. I'm a pretty cautious rider and if it really makes a difference traction wise then I think I'll buy the ABS version, but basically I want to know what someone who has experience with the bike thinks.

I wanted ABS but I didn't want to wait two months. There are alot of mixed opinions on ABS, but if you can wait for one then go for it. They're harder to find (slightly higher resale), will save you on insurance, and will probably save you from skidding and losing control at some point.
