I don't have a CBR 250R yet but I am shopping for a small cc commuter. I rode the Ninja, I like what I got out of it. This would not be my first bike, I currently own a GSXR 600 and TE 450 Husky and have owned a RC51. I need a maximum MPG for a 70 mile round trip commute. My biggest question is,

Does the 250R support heated grips/vest? My commute is the the early morning hours.

Thanks :D

Welcome... not sure of the answer for your question but the CBR can do 70 miles on a gallon of gas pretty easily, depending on your driving conditions.
I got around 60 beatin on the rev range over a course of 145 hwy miles and 1.5hrs of stop and go traffic.

Never needed heated grips or vest out here on the cali coastline, so i also cant help you.

Really? Maybe it doesn't get as cold on the coast as it does in the high desert, or maybe it's just because I ride year-around, but I use heated gloves for half the year for my 65 mile 0400 commute.

Could be that I'm just a sissy, I guess. ~20 degrees at 80mph makes my fingers hurt.

To the OP - I don't know if heated grips are an option, but gloves and a vest should be OK - it depends on the wattage you want to use.
