Isn't this the "dreaded rattle" that almost everybody has? Not to worry, it is in fact a little bb in the bank angle sensor, or so most believe.
Min does it too. There is tons on this elsewhere in the forum.

Well, my bike does that sound too, that sound was the sound of the rocker arm.. there is a small gap between rocker arm and camshaft so it will make some tickling sound.. All CBR250R does that sound, and I think that is normal.. because it will not decrease the engine performance.. my opinion, I just assuming on 5k - 6k RPM is like a bridge for changing it's power from cruise speed into high speed

Get used to it. I've heard it for the last 2 years and 7k miles.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Honda to admit there is a problem. They will call it a "feature".

When you hear the ticking/rattling you'll know your at 5.5k RPMs.

This is the one thing I really dislike about my CBR250R.

I'm at 4,500mi and riding home from work a click stated happening every time I get to 2000 and again at 4000 rpm. It's quite a loud click, happens when rolling on or off throttle. Doesn't matter if I'm in gear or neutral. Any ideas?

Keep the bikes tacho at 8k+ rpm. Problem solved

Haha that's great. People don't like it when your sitting at a stop sign in front of their house revving it to 8k. Specially with a loud slip on

Cant say Ive heard anything untoward at idle when stopped. But if 8k rpm when moving isn't your thing then get ear plugs or a different ride
